Warehouse is one of the important links in the process of commodity circulation, and also an important pillar for the development of the logistics market.

 

From global perspective, logistics warehouse mainly divided into five stages: manual storage, mechanized storage, automated storage, integrated automated storage, and intelligent automated storage. At present, China's warehouse development is at the stage of automation and integrated automation. With the development of technology, the industrial internet will be upgraded intelligently in the future.

 

With the development of China's industry and economy, the modernization requirements of the warehouse industry are constantly increasing. China's warehouse market has sufficient demand for years, industry orders and facility utilization rates maintain good level, and the total business volume has maintained a steady and rising development trend. The profit model of the warehouse industry is mainly based on warehouse leasing services and supplemented by value-added services. It mainly includes three parts: one is storage and simple processing business, which is the main source of profits for the warehousing industry. The other is value-added such as supporting loading and unloading Services. The third is financial leasing services. The business volume of China's warehouse industry has grown steadily, and the company's revenue has improved significantly. However, costs have continued to increase, and the industry's profit space has been significantly squeezed. Reducing costs and increasing efficiency is still a difficult problem for the development of the warehousing industry.

 At current, China's storage area is about 1 billion square meters, which can meet the basic needs of the logistics market, but the geographical distribution of China's storage facilities is relatively uneven, mainly concentrated in economically developed areas. In addition, the structure of warehouse facilities in China is also relatively unreasonable. Traditional warehouse accounts for a large proportion and modern warehousing accounts for a relatively low proportion. With the diversification of the types of consumers purchasing, traditional single warehousing services can no longer meet the increasingly complex needs of the logistics market, and the structure of China's warehouse facilities needs to be adjusted and upgraded.

 

Warehouse is one of the important sub industries in the logistics industry. China's e-commerce market is booming, and the prosperity of the logistics industry has been at a high level. The stable and positive operation pattern of China's warehousing industry will continue. However, in the storage industry of China, the traditional storage facilities occupy a large share, and the single service mode has been unable to meet the increasingly diversified market demand of storage goods. The key for the future development of the storage industry are the deep integration and optimization of storage resources, and the establishment of modern storage facilities, and the expansion of industry profitability.
