According to the demand of automatic conveying, a single type of conveyor can be combined into a pallet automatic conveying system with specific functions, or a pallet automatic conveying system with specific functions can be composed of several types of conveyors according to needs.
Advantages of the conveyor mode
A, continuous conveying mode, large conveying capacity. Conveying can be carried out without interruption, and its loading and unloading are carried out without stopping the conveying process. It is not necessary to experience no-load and cause intermittent conveying. At the same time, due to infrequent starting and braking, a higher conveying speed can be adopted.

Disadvantages of the conveyor model

2 Reciprocating shuttle model

Reciprocating shuttle car is a new type of rail material handling car, in a fixed track fast shuttle operation, complete the material handling work. Under some special conditions, the automatic material handling system composed of reciprocating shuttle cars is very simple and convenient. For example, outside the three-dimensional warehouse of multiple roadways, in order to complete the automatic operation of the pallet in and out of the warehouse, it is usually necessary to transport the pallet horizontally relative to the roadway, and it is an ideal mode to use reciprocating shuttle car to realize it.
The continuous conveying of the reciprocating shuttle mode is intermittent fast conveying, and the rigid transportation is semi-flexible conveying.
Advantages of reciprocating shuttle model
The system is simple and clear, the equipment is small, the floor area is small, and the transportation is fast. The shuttle car can be designed with an automatic pick-up device, which can transport high-quality pallet goods.
Disadvantages of reciprocating shuttle model
Reciprocating shuttle transport capacity is limited, for large-scale three-dimensional library, it is not appropriate to use this method, because it is easy to form a bottleneck of outbound transport capacity, affecting the operation of the three-dimensional library system. In addition, the reliability of the system is too constrained by the reliability of a single reciprocating shuttle car. If the shuttle car fails, the whole system cannot complete the warehousing operation. Therefore, it is particularly important to improve the reliability of the shuttle.

3 Circular shuttle model

The circular shuttle can be used to transport the pallet horizontally and vertically, and multiple shuttle cars can work at the same time, with strong conveying capacity.
The circular shuttle car model is developed from the reciprocating shuttle car model. The shuttle car is arranged in a ring shape in the plane and can run multiple shuttle cars at the same time, which overcomes the defect that the reciprocating shuttle car model may cause operation bottleneck, but still maintains the advantages of the reciprocating shuttle car. The circular shuttle car can transport the pallet horizontally or vertically as required, and can transport multiple shuttles at the same time, with strong conveying capacity.
However, the circular shuttle car model track layout is more complex, high cost, while the use of wireless communication for its scheduling, technical difficulties.

4AGV mode

The automatic conveying system AGVS composed of AGV can carry out flexible conveying of pallets with a long conveying distance.
The AGV mode is a highly flexible pallet automation conveying system. The AGV mode adopts AGV to form a professional AGVS, which can flexibly convey the tray with a long conveying distance. The stacker is connected to the delivery platform at the exit and exit port, and the AGVS is connected to the delivery platform. AGV can extend material transportation to all aspects of the production line under the automatic scheduling of the upper computer system. It has a complete intelligent energy supply system and various safety guarantee systems. Therefore, some people say that "AGV is a tireless porter".
And when the need for production process changes, advanced AGVS (such as laser guided transport vehicle system LGVS) only need to simply change the computer program, which is very beneficial to protect the user's investment. The only drawback of this model is the higher cost.

For the implementation of the pallet automation conveying system of the specific automated warehouse system, it is necessary to analyze the specific problems according to the actual situation. The various automated transportation modes described above have their own advantages and disadvantages, and the system design must first clarify the needs of the handling system.
