In October, 5.64GW of new photovoltaic installed capacity was added,Year-on-year growth of 50.4 per cent, month-on-monthDescent30.6%。From January to October, the cumulative installed capacity of photovoltaic was 58.24GW, up 99% year on year.
By the end of October, the country's cumulative installed power generation capacity was about 2.5 billion kilowatts, up 8.3 percent year-on-year. Among them, the installed capacity of wind power is about 0.35 billion kilowatts, a year-on-year increase of 16.6; the installed capacity of solar power generation is about 0.36 billion kilowatts, a year-on-year increase of 29.2.
From January to October, the cumulative average utilization of power generation equipment nationwide was 3083 hours, 103 hours less than the same period last year. Among them, 3619 hours of thermal power, 52 hours less than the same period last year; 6226 hours of nuclear power, 245 hours less than the same period last year; 1817 hours of wind power, 10 hours less than the same period last year.
From January to October, the country's major power generation enterprises completed an investment of 460.7 billion billion yuan in power supply projects, an increase of 27.0 percent over the same period last year. Among them, solar power generation was 157.4 billion billion yuan, up 326.7 year on year. The investment in power grid projects was 351.1 billion billion yuan, up 3.0 year on year.
